Ebbe Sand

Ebbe Sand is perhaps the greatest striker to play for Brøndby IF in recent years. With a permanant place in the squad he has scored winning goal after winning goal. He doesn't succumb to pressure. he has scored recently against Manchester United's ex-Brøndby 'keeper - Peter Schmeichel in the Champions League. He also scored a terrific goal against Nigeria just seconds after coming on to the pitch as a sub in the world cup.

However, Ebbe has decided not to play for Brøndby anymore. He felt that the money in the Danish game was not enough for him. In April of this year, he was sold to the mid-table German club Shalke 04. Now Brøndby will have to learn how to win without him.
